What happened to the American Dream? By Jon Deridder I was one of the many who lost their dream. Working a deadend job. The pay was good, but it was leading me any where. I remember as a kid dreaming about traveling the world and living the life of the rich people. The life I only saw in the movies. I was stuck in a life of 60-80 hours at the job. I missed so many things living this way. I just knew there had to be a better way than this. I started search for a way that would give me hope to dream again. The things I have looked at over years, some good and some not. I was introduced to network marketing as one of the ways. This for me clicked, although I struggled for a long time at it. The reason I struggled at it was, I needed become a better me. I have spent a lot of time reading books and listening to cd's on personal development. It also helps to have a good mentor.

I started an Internet business in 2005, most of the income did not come from the website; I had to travel to earn; then I met another traveling sales person, who is now my partner. I get to stay home and do Open Networking and my partner continues to travel. The larger ones network increases opportunities. Becoming a LION on LinkedIn is the best status to increase earning opportunities.
